CAZEO Meeting Minutes: Held at Villa Capri in Wallingford, Connecticut on Wednesday, December 3, 2008.

Members present: President, Laurie Whitten, Vice President, Joe Larking, Secretary, Monica Holloway, Treasurer, Lisa Houlihan.

The meeting began at 1 p.m.

BUSINESS MEETING
The October 1, 2008, meeting minutes were approved and the treasurers report as well.

The treasurer's report was approved.

President Laurie Whitten stated it has been an honor and a privilege to hold the office of president for this organization for the past two years. She thanked the executive board for all their hard work. The new slate of officers are:

• President, Joe Larkin (Town of Stonington)
• Vice President, Lisa Houlihan (Town of Ellington)
• Secretary, Monica Holloway (Town of Berlin)
• Treasurer, Bob Flanagan (Town of Redding)

Congratulations to the new officers.

CERTIFICATION COMMITTEE
John McCahill presented the certificates for Certified Zoning Enforcement Officers and the following were certified:

• Nancy Carmel, Greenwich
• Michael Glidden, Waterford
• Howard Beach, Simsbury
• Laura Magarci, Branford
• Casey O'Donnell, Greenwich

Congratulations to the above Certified Zoning Enforcement Officers.

May 1, 2009, is the deadline for the next case studies.

SPEAKER
Mike Zizka, an attorney with Murtha Cullina, LLP. Mike's talk was on the legislative updates along with court cases, and legislature pertinent to planning and zoning issues. As always Mike brings his humor and his expertise. His talks are always informative.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:38.
